The building code analysis you receive along with your building or deck permit will let you know when you must have your inspection(s) done.

Booking an inspection

Most inspection requests that are received by 3 p.m. will be scheduled for the next business day. Requests received after 3 p.m. will be scheduled for a date within the next two business days. All inspection requests are time-stamped.

You can request an inspection by phone or online. After the booking is made, it is your responsibility to confirm it.

The day of your inspection

Inspectors will be on-site between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the inspection date. You cannot ask for a specific time unless you have applied online.

If you have concerns about the timeframe of your scheduled inspection, call 780-464-8080 between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on the inspection date.

Please ensure there is someone on-site when the inspector arrives. If a representative is not present and the inspection needs to be rescheduled, re-inspection fees may apply.
